.the first pass was ok. a little windy, but the snow was just starting and not to bad
.
.on the thrid lap i just got in the slow lane and followed the first tire track. hey i was keeping up with traffic and even passing. ave. speed was 22-24 mph.
.
.on the last lap ice was forming under the the cars tire tracks so i called it quits as it got too slippery. i aired down to 18 psi from the start, so going lower was not an option. good leg workout at that pressure though.

.so as good samaritine, i stoped to help a lady who got her front wheel car stuck in the gutter of the street. pushed her back and then foward and off she went.
.
.latter going up 33rd. i came upon a newer mercedez going 1/2 mile per hour. i looked down as i passed and the rear tire was just spinning. so i jumped off the bike, got behind the car and pushed, pushed, pushed. got him up to 5 mph and the ran back, got on the bike and while riding, put my hand on his rear fender and pushed until he got up the rest of the hill.

.
.all along the ride people were honking, waving and giving me the thumbs up. what? don't people ride bikes in the snow here? anyways its nice to get good attention from the cars.

.
.my gu shot bottle never froze, just got thick. but my carb/protien drink got so slushy that i had to stop and scoop it out to get a drink. i don't think 7/11 is going to make that flavor slurpie anytime soon.
