Easy spin millcreek and running the dogs

just a wonderful sunny warm day on pipeline. the doggies running way out ahead barking and playing. rode the vassaago with the new nokian 294 studded tires. wow what grip on hard snow. it was like riding a track bike on an indoor wooden floor covered in varethane.

supa grip. there were a few sunny and soft slushy parts that the tires didn't really hook up, but for the most part it was fun.

interesting note for those that don't know. the snow because it is cold and sticky catches all the smells of everything that passes by everyday and collects it till it rains or snows. after a week of hot weather the trail is a cornicopia of smells and scents for the dogs.

a small part of the trail was even bare and patchy without snow. and we have alot of warm days coming up.

here is the nokian extreme 294 in all its glory. many people were commenting on them as i rode past. i didn't know they could see the studs from far away while i was riding. psi was at 15 and it helped to smoothen out some of the bumpy footprints on the hard snow.
ha..... every now and then i would get off the hard trail into the really soft snow on the side of the trail and the bike would come to a complete stop with the rear wheel coming off the ground.
almost kissed the stem that way.
