Rode at lambert today in alpine

rode the wensday 6pm bikepeddler ride at lambert. nine people showed up we rode many of the fun trails there. rodeo, poppy, middle, high bench, zig, oh i'm sure there are many more i just don't know them all.

three girls showed up. they talked modest, but these gals sure can ride!!
josh in the orange trail guide at first.
it was a fun pace and we meandered thru most of the area. i rode the single speed with the new endless cog gear and spacer. no problems, very smooth.

In moab for four days

promissed the roomate a road trip for her birthday so we took the doggies to moab. spent most of the time hiking and eating, no bike riding.

here we are on the first day at hunters canyon. a nice stream running thru a tall walled canyon. i feel worldly all of a sudden

step up, step lively....the weather was perfect. not too hot or cold.

this is park avenue in arches national park. big slabs of monolithic sandstone jutting up towards the sky. impresssive...very impressive.

while on one of our many ice cream trips we saw chance's(husky) "mini-me"

sight seeing in the desert is thirsty business. i had plenty of refreshments and food availiable for all.

this is the view of the colorado river from dead horse canyon.

here are the two pousers at it again. sheez what a bunch of hams. but just look at the smile on my dog. it takes a lot of spoiling to get that from a dog.

here i am explaining a intricate plan to over throw the world, but we decide to eat a big meal and take a nap instead after our hike.

at the end of this hike was another of the many arches in these areas. they are all big and amazing.

here clutch is playing in the water. such a spaz, but i love her.
